Miłek (Adonis L.) - a genus of plants belonging to the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae). Includes 33 species. These plants occur naturally in Eurasia and North Africa. There are three species in the wild in Poland, of which A. vernalis is the only native of which, and a few others are sometimes cultivated.

Herb raw material: flowering herb (Herba Adonidis vernalis) contains cardenolide glycosides and flavonoids (vitexin, luteolin) in greater amounts than in the summer sweetheart.
